The poster for Camilla Belle’s new movie Cavemen hit the web! Skylar Astin, co-stars with Camilla in the film posted it on his instagram. You can check it out below or in our gallery!
Camilla is featured as one of the 21 stylish women for Salvatore Ferragamo’s L’Icona Project. When Salvatore Ferragamo wanted to reboot its classic Vara shoe style, he turned to young tastemakers and asked them to put their spin on it. Camilla Belle made hers in beige patent leather with a crisp white ribbon to wear with an ethereal peach-colored garden party dress. Beginning May 1, Salvatore Ferragamo’s classic Vara pump will be further immortalized in an online project called L’Icona. The site, which is being launched as part of the shoe’s 35th anniversary festivities, will feature portraits of 21 of the world’s modern fashionistas (a.k.a. fashion week regulars, models, and actresses) hand-selected by creative director Massimiliano Giornetti and snapped by celebrated photographer (and former Wintour assistant) Claiborne Swanson Frank. Each woman will be modeling a custom pair of Ferragamo’s Vara or Varina shoes that will soon be offered in a fresh assortment of colors ranging from Blue Scuro, Lava, Acqua, Rosso, and an exclusive summery print.
Fox International Productions has boarded Amapola, the feature helming debut of Argentinian opera and theater director and Oscar-winning art director Eugenio Zanetti. Production is underway in El Tigre, Argentina on the film that Zanetti also wrote and which stars Camilla Belle as the title character. Also starring are Francois Arnaud, Geraldine Chaplin, Lito Cruz and Leonor Benedetto.
The film is described as a romantic reimagining of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream set against the turbulent backdrops of the 1962 Argentinian military coup and the 1982 war for the Falkland Islands. The Fox International Production is produced by Rodrigo H. Vila and Dalila Zaritzky via Cinema 7. Twentieth Century Fox will distribute the film in Latin America. Belle is repped by Untitled, UTA and Jackoway Tyerman Wertheimer Austen Mandelbaum Morris & Klein.
